Roxbury

Roxbury was incorporated as the forth township in Morris County in 1740. Its boundaries, at that time, were: the Chesters, Mt. Arlington, Mt. Olive, Netcong, and Washington Twp. It also included parts of Sussex County, namely the towns of Hopatcong Borough and Stanhope. ​​​
